International Container Terminal Services, Inc.’s (ICTSI) subsidiary Batumi International Container Terminal LLC (BICT) and Batumi Sea Port Ltd. (BSPL) co-hosted the 6th Black Sea Ports and Shipping International Conference and Exhibition on 18 – 19 May at the Sheraton Batumi Hotel.
Legal Consulting Center LLC was invited and attended the conference as a partner of the Batumi International Container Terminal LLC.
Two-day conference featured 30 world class speakers addressing topical issues and challenges covering global transportation and logistics.
Around 400 local and international delegates were attending the conference.
Conference was opened by Mr. Zurab Pataradze, Chairman of the Government of Adjara, and Mr. Mamuka Akhaladze, General Director of Maritime Transport Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia. The key officials representing the hosting organizations during the opening were Mr. Hans Ole Madsen, Senior Vice president, Regional Head of Europe and Middle East of ICTSI, Mr. Murat Jumadillaiyev, BSPL Director General and Mr. Nikoloz Gogoli, BICT Managing Director, Around 40 companies, organizations and government agencies participated in the conference.
